The latest fashion news is that the Italian designer Riccardo Tisci is planning to stage high-end fashion brand Burberry presentation under British skies in September. The best part about the show is, all are welcome to the spring 2021 outdoor show, although they will have to enjoy it digitally.
The latest fashion news is that Burberry, the high-end fashion brand is the first to fix a date for September's fashion week.
It will no doubt be an unconventional, physical-digital affair, given limited flights and quarantines, masks and social distancing measures, and strict concern to crowd control.
The show will take place in September, on the 17th, which is designer Riccardo Tisci’s lucky number and on the eve of London Fashion Week, which runs from September 18th to September 22nd. The high-end fashion brand Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer stated that he wanted to conduit the “purity and simplicity of the outdoors” and redesign the fashion landscape through new forms of expression.
It is in the latest fashion news that the show will be a physical presence, open for all to experience digitally. The high-end fashion brand feels that through this concept, they can build new opportunities and open new spaces to their community around the world by giving everyone a chance to experience it together. They made it clear in advance that other than the models and their team, there will not be anybody physically at the location. Tisci mentioned that as most people are unable to travel, it was important for the high-end fashion brand to create a space where anybody would be able to engage with and immerse themselves in the show experience. Talking about the nature the designer cleared as the brand’s founder Thomas Burberry, also had a close affinity with nature and the elements, so there was this feeling of the brand coming back to their heritage, back to roots.
It is also in the latest fashion news that the renowned Italian designer Tisci stated- “As humans, we have always had a deep affinity to nature. Recently, we have all learned to reconnect again, and for this show, I wanted to celebrate these feelings by bringing our community together in a creative experience that takes place within the beautiful, natural landscape of Britain,” Riccardo Tisci’s love for nature is not new, Bambi- a Tisci signature, featured big in his first collection for the high-end fashion brand, while hand-sketched, painted and collaged animal prints have paraded and swung their way across jackets, bags, and silk scarves.
