Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone becomes the first Indian celebrity to star for the renowned French fashion house and luxury retailer Louis Vuitton’s campaign. The actress announced her news on the social media app by sharing a photo.

She posted “I am beyond thrilled to be joining the Louis Vuitton family! To be a part of Nicholas Ghesquière’s vision for the world’s most iconic brand is not only exciting but also very humbling! Presenting… #LVprefall20.”

Deepika Padukone dressed in the Pre -Fall collection 2020 while posing for the campaign. She wore a contrasting midi along with a jacket and the belt from the brand paired with green boots while featuring in a poster of “Don’t Turn Around”.

What is the collection About?

The upcoming Pre fall 2020 campaign is called as “wearable library”, where each outfit “writes its own chapter made of romantic monologues.” The theme for the campaign is based on pulp horror in books and films. Nicolas Ghesquière, a French fashion designer and current Creative Director of Louis Vuitton himself announced Deepika Padukone’s association with the brand for the Pre-fall 2020 campaign. Each star poses a picture for the cover of mock fiction novels.
