Over 100 Indian fashion designers, along with numerous others will retail their authentic collections at up to 70% off. The latest fashion news is, the Fashion Design Council Of India (FDCI) will create a one-stop portal for participating Indian fashion designers and others on the Fashion Design Council Of India (FDCI) website.
The latest fashion news covers that the one-stop portal will take customers to the “Designer Stockroom” section on the Indian fashion designers or other designer’s websites. The most anticipated sale will promote extensively, both online and offline.
The announcement was officially made on July 13th, 2020 by the Fashion Design Council Of India (FDCI). It is good to see how the Indian fashion industry and Indian fashion designers are keeping with the rapidly changing times. The Fashion Design Council Of India (FDCI) has moved a step forward yet again, it is now embracing new technologies. One of the most anticipated sales, the Designer Stockroom, will take place online from July 31st, 2020-August 2, 2020.
The latest fashion news is, there is neither any application fee nor revenue sharing for this particular initiative. The idea behind taking “Designer Stockroom” online was to get the sales wheels rolling. The Fashion Design Council Of India (FDCI) is also working on the Designer Showroom, which will be a B2B platform. It aims to connect Indian fashion designers with domestic and international customers for future collections. This authentic fashion business platform will be “live” for the upcoming season. Along with this, the Fashion Design Council Of India (FDCI) is also preparing for the India Fashion Week and India Couture Week, that are condemned to be in the physical/digital space.

Sunil Sethi, the Chairman of the Fashion Design Council Of India (FDCI) about the announcement stated- “We received many queries on the stockroom sale as it has been a huge crowd puller for the last three editions. Despite the challenges the fashion world is facing at this time, we wished to get the momentum back by initiating the sale, through the Designer Stockroom online,” Sethi continued, “This will help cash-strapped businesses and aid them in modernizing their business to enable an e-commerce portfolio, which is the future of fashion,”
