The Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) has just kick started with its Summer/Resort 2020 collection. The duo Janhvi and Vicky were the showstoppers for the most promising designer 'Kunal Rawal' and the designer who needs no introduction to fashion scenario 'Rahul Mishra' with other 30 Gen Next designers.
On 11th February 2020, the inauguration show was hosted by Reliance Trends, the show focused on celebrating 20 years of Lakme Fashion Week along with 30 Gen-Next alumni. For the people who are not familiar with what is Lakme Fashion Week Gen-Next, since 2005 Lakme has been providing the young designers with a platform to showcase their designs and set their foot in the fashion industry. So, the inauguration day of Lakme Fashion Week was celebrated in the success of all the Gen Next stars from the past.
The 30 Gen-Next stars recreated their famous iconic looks from their debut collections and displayed them in their contemporary style. The Gen-Next designers who spread their magic at the inauguration event were:

Reliance Trends in India is one of the largest apparel destinations, Vicky Kaushal the latest poster boy and Janhvi Kapoor the new-gen star have been the face of the brand across India for a long time now. The duo walked the ramp for Reliance Trends this time at The Jio World Garden, Mumbai.
Janhvi like every time managed to grab all our attention with her phenomenal looks and confidence. She wore a fully embroidered tulle gown and Vicky on the other side looked no less handsome, he was seen wearing Kunal Rawal's creation that compromised an asymmetric hemline, black heavily textured, button less sherwani over a white and black color-blocked chevron inset kurta and fitted pants.
