British luxury house, Jimmy Choo’s A/W ‘1 9 collection launch was celebrated in great style at Asilo, St Regis Rooftop in Mumbai. The evening was devoted to all things fashion and guest listed included many b-town divas. All the fashionistas put their most fashionable foot forward for the event.
The collection defined a modern heroine, outlining a new idea of a contemporary heroine – a woman of ambition, drive, and passion, yet playful and daring – an ethos inherently tied to Jimmy Choo.
Built of contrasts, she is powerful yet delicate, pragmatic yet glamorous. This dichotomy is echoed throughout, where the sexiness intrinsic toJimmy Choo is balanced with elements of utility. There is simultaneously a sense of legacy, of modern icons and future classics – pieces designed for longevity.
As part of a definition of the codes of Jimmy Choo, an abbreviated monogram logo was introduced at the event, which, served as the major highlight. An interlinked JC faceted with a confident silhouette is a constant reminder of the brand’s meaning and value.
The JC logo was the highlight of the evening with guests striking poses against the unique backdrop. The installation of the gold JC logo was suspended from the cabanas like a constellation of stars.
Actor and singer,Sophie Choudry chose an off-shoulder maroon number for the event. The body-hugging dress accentuated her curves while featuring a thigh-high slit, adding a sexy touch to the look. She paired it with a black bag by the brand itself, showcasing the new logo. Keeping the accessories minimal she opted for stacked bracelets and drop earrings to complete the look. Her strappy gold stilettos adding the right amount of height making her look highly glamorous. Bright red lips, well-defined brows, and a winged liner completed her look perfectly.
Singer Manasi Scottwas also caught posing for the shutterbugs in front of the new monogram logo. Scott proves that you can never go wrong with black. An all-black jumpsuit with a plunging neckline is just the right amount of sexy. She paired the ensemble with black pumps and a black crossbody bag. Letting her outfit be the star of the evening, she chose to keep her make-up minimal. We can surely say she looked chic and sophisticated.
Hot, Dazzling and extremely sexy, Malaika Arora secured the top spot when it was about the best dressed. The yummy mummy opted for a light blue sequins dress with statement-sleeves and she stole the spotlight. Her hair was pulled back in a sleek pony and a blue liner perfectly matched her outfit. Staying absolutely on-trend and with it, Malaika opted for square toe black boots and a black moon shaped handbag to complete the look. The Annakiki number is proof that Malaika is all about going extra! If you’re a maximalist and love to be the center of attention this number is all you need.
Mandira Bedi brought to the event a preppy look in earthy tones. She chose a beige lace top with a plunging neckline and teamed it up with a black mini skirt. To add some drama she opted for animal print black and brown calf-length boots to complete the look. But any look at the event is definitely incomplete without a Jimmy Choo bag. Matching the accents of her outfit, she chose a maroon and brown crossbody bag. We love the look!
All these b-town divas have served us some serious fashion inspirations, so all you ladies out there it’s time to take note!
