For the Fall-Winter 2019 collection, the luxury fashion line Louis Vuitton has collaborated with LA-based artist Alex Israel to bring some vibrant pop beauty in the basic LV designs.
Louis Vuitton Malletier usually referred to as Louis Vuitton or LV, is a French fashion house and luxury brand which every girl wants to put her hands on.
The fashion label has collaborated with multimedia artists, Alex Israel who is also an eyewear designer. The collaboration will result in a new launch of pop scarves in Louis Vuitton. Louis Vuitton and Artist Alex Israel Debut a Limited-Edition Scarf Collection which will eventually result in a Vibrant Textile Collection.
This limited edition will consist of eight pieces; the collection includes scarves, shawls, and blankets. It is a combination of Israel’s silk textile scarves; one side is carved with a padded recreation of the artist’s Wave paintings, while the other side brings out Louis Vuitton’s signature logo pattern.
The collaborative scarves are offered in three to four color blocks.
According to sources, ' Israel's designs on the scarves are cut from a technically innovative quilting technique to showcase his Wave painting.
Also, the Sky Backdrop Monogram shawls in the collection are made from blended material of Silk and Cashmere and are available in two color ways, the garment showcases Israel’s Sky Backdrop paintings.
Another eye candy piece in the collection is a bandeau, featuring a spontaneous desert scene with cactus and cars. The piece also includes a sky and pink color backdrop print with the Louis Vuitton monogram. The cost of this double-sided bandeau is USD 235.
The range of the collection is high. The shawls for this edition are priced at USD 1100, scarves range between USD 1310 and above, blankets are priced between USD 2770- USD 8850.
The Louis Vuitton-Alex Israel Textile Collection has been unveiled in Los Angeles on June 27th, 2019, and is already available in selected few stores.
Along with it, LV invited the artist Alex Israel to design the West Coast-inspired Cologne Perfumes too. The artist brought in pop colors describing the endless summers.
