India’s first footwear brand to make shoes with Australian Merino Wool, A Sustainable Fashion Initiative in footwear. Neeman’s launches its first-ever digital campaign in collaboration with The Woolmark Company.

On 12th March 2020, the world’s most recognized textile fiber brand, The Woolmark Company, collaborated with the homegrown footwear brand Neemran’s and they associated with the stellar comedian and global icon Vir Das.

Neeman’s collaborated with The Woolmark Company to produce footwear crafted from the natural fiber, further addressing more sustainable fashion in India. 

The brand pioneers in manufacturing footwear that amalgamates comfort and sustainable fashion, making wool a natural fit. Neemran was India’s first footwear brand to use natural, renewable, and biodegradable fiber- wool.

Promoting sustainable fashion, the eco-conscious brand is leading a fashion culture of sustainability and comfort in the footwear world of India.

The brand glorifying the fashion culture introduced wool shoes for women in seven new different colors. The Neeman’s and The Woolmark Company’s “Pop of color” collection presents a wide range of men’s and women’s sneakers, joggers, and loafers made of natural Merino wool in a color palette ranging from bold tones like bubble gum pink, coral red, purple plum and coal-black to subtle hues like ivory cream, sand brown and grey mist. The collection is inspired by the tones of nature and showcases the versatility of Australian Merino wool.


Insights of the digital campaign 

Further to enhance the collection launch a digital campaign is being rolled out featuring Vir Das, the comedian using his humor to spread awareness about the perks of the shoe and talk about the brand’s sustainable fashion and qualities that don’t exist in traditional footwear. Properties such as natural, biodegradable, renewable, comfort, style, odor resistance and the ability to run sock-free are presented in a quirky and humorous style.

Vir Das stated, “I am extremely glad to be a part of this association with Neeman’s and The Woolmark Company, I wish to digitally spread the message as far and wide as possible, especially regarding sustainability, which is something I feel passionate about. Neeman’s Pop of Colour collection is so young, vibrant and easy going. The shoes have a great sensibility of style and comfort, blended effortlessly thanks to the inclusion of Merino wool.
