Lakme and FDCI, the most popular names in the fashion industry host their fashion week this year with a blast of brilliant designers and their ace creations of women’s and men’s fashion. This time, the spectacular designer duo Pankaj and Nidhi represented their classic graphic-cool show named Kaleido, at the FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week. It was a grand gala of brand new collections on the ramp of unbridled self-expression and an optimistic look at the future.
Talking about the name, Kaleido is a Greek derivation that means "beautiful form ", which evokes the essence of this collection. This label has created some iconic free-flowing hair looks with bright-hued combinations of fashion clothing. These flowy garments are created in a way that enhances the courage driving women to embrace their natural form.
This collection is a precise and sharp collection that comes with wide color combinations of rainbow hues of brilliant reds, luscious oranges, unabashed pinks, ultra-violet blues, and soothing electric greens. Beautiful silhouettes that feature flowing maxi and mini dresses embody sporty elements that acknowledge the idea of fitness and health as these fabrics are sheer, translucent, breathable, and very convenient to carry.
This summer, and the adjacent holiday season around it, with combinations of off-colored silhouettes designed by the Indian fashion designer duo Pankaj and Nidhi. The true essence of 3D geometry, especially including pyramids in men’s fashion. Both the designers provide a new vision for this coming year covering enrichment in fashion clothing. Their designs include luminous fabrics in addition to wanderlust-including some inducing silhouettes and antsy psychedelic patterns and textures.

Pankaj completed his graduation with top honors from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (N.I.F.T.). He won the 'Uma Nath Gold Medal' for topping the academic section and the 'Ritu Kumar' Award for the Best Graduating Collection in the year 1995. He also won the first Smirnoff International Fashion Award in 1994.
During Pankaj’s tenure there, he met and married his colleague Nidhi, who was also a bright and creative alumnus of the same place N.I.F.T. She was known for working with one of India's leading Export Firms - The Creative Group that is known because they design & produce for some of the biggest labels in Europe.
In August 2012, the husband-and-wife duo was chosen as Grand Finale designers, a first for one of India's younger talents, for the Lakmé Fashion Week where their collection was received with a standing ovation for the first time. The popular Indian fashion designers have been honored several Elle Style Awards, which is the most recent and most prestigious of which was also the Elle Designer of the Year 2012.
