The experimental and much awaited fashion week has started with an idea of fashion identified to all, it is organized by the FDCI in association with EbixCash Spring- Summer 20 with an all new theme #MyFashionMyTribe making fashion accessible to all. The 32nd edition of Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week emphasizes on inclusivity in fashion.
The last show at its first day experienced something youthful and full of style. It was the first time when Pepsi made its foray into the fashion industry in collaboration with a home grown Indian brand HUEMN by Shyma Shetty. It was playful and dedicated to the youth incorporating ‘SWAG’.
‘PepsiCo’ is one of the youth oriented brands in India which also embarks celebrations. Making its presence for the very first time in the fashion field it aimed at reflecting the fresh attitude of today’s generation. For the brand fashion is all about self expression and their foray into the industry is celebrating that self expression.
‘HUEMN’ by Shyma Shetty and Pranav Mishra founded in 2012 voices the ethos of many cultures together. A home grown fashion label and winner of Vogue India Fashion Fund winner aims to create products that are thoughtful, diverse and inclusive in its nature.
The latest collection created by Pranav Mishra and Shyma Shetty showcased the statement athleisure. It celebrated the new power of youth who is confident and smart. Also it was a collection that initiated towards the latest campaigns against plastics. As all the denim fabric used in the collection was made using recycling plastic, in line with PepsiCo’s ‘Winning with Purpose’ vision aiming to build a world where plastics are never a waste.
The thrilling and amazing collection was solely dedicated to the youth of the nation with complete athleisure variety including a pair of jeans, jackets, track suits, denim jackets, oversized denim shirts, joggers, sweat shirts and shorts. The complete array of this collection focused on comfortable clothing. Oversized silhouettes marked the presence of colors like blue, black, pink, sky blue, nude and tan tones along with grey shimmer to glaze the athleisure style. The hair was kept open and sports shoes highlighted the easy going style combined with lot of glamour and glitter.
Inclusive models walked the ramp in a beautiful way to showing their outfits in turquoise blue tones. The no make- up look brought a relaxed feeling. It was all about bringing confidence and style to all sizes and skin colors.
Disha Patani, Bollywood actress closed the show and the day by walking the ramp in a white T-shirt and pair of denims styled in bell bottom style in white sneakers. The perfect symbol of youth was refreshing and attractive at the ramp. The latter styles combined the Pepsi bottles and its logo imbibed on the fabric and in the joggers to stand out. The Pepsi Swag Collection hits the ramp in the most enormous way celebrating the power and style of youth.
