On 15th February 2020, at the Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour, India’s most in-demand couturiers, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla presented an elite collection of their couture setting latest fashion trends, redefining craftsmanship, design and the spirit of holistic beauty.
The event took place in the national capital, Delhi. The collection acclaimed the various cultures, moods, techniques, Indigenous textiles and also represented the latest fashion trends. The Blender’s Pride Fashion tour 2020 is celebrating the collection of multiple Indian fashion designers including Late Wendall Rodrick, Amit Agarwal, Anju Modi, Gaurav Gupta, Payal Jain in 4 different cities of the country. By now Hyderabad and Delhi have been unraveled leaving Mumbai and Kolkata still in store for us. The Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour 2020 after gracing Hyderabad by the Indian fashion designer, Manish Malhotra’s beautiful collection, has now moved to Delhi. The night in the capital was a beautiful amalgamation of beauty and creativity, the duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla showcased a mix of their traditional designs, palettes, and embroidery along with a more contemporary touch. What ruled the stage was highly structured sleeves, blouses and silhouettes and two models wearing long black dresses and they sat on circular rings on either side of the stage. The outfits had typography with Abu- Sandeep’s name engraved on them.
The night was all glazed up and well-choreographed with music on point, the collection included gorgeous lehengas, gararas, long gowns, sarees in beautiful shades. The shade card included purple, emerald green, pastel green, blue, yellow, indigo, white, and more. The theme of the event was love is love, and gender-neutral outfits, the Indian fashion designers also had Ranaut, a transgender model in gorgeous pink saree. The menswear collection was fascinating, with edgy designs and typography. It also included denim pieces with typography, bejeweled eyes, and lips. The footwears were high heeled with varied embellishments on them.
The new Bollywood sensation Sara Ali Khan turned showstopper for the ace duo designer Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The actress first was witnessed wearing gold and deep mauve gorgeously embroidered Lehenga, a blouse with huge puffy balloon sleeves, the outfit was enhanced with a huge neckpiece that covered her blouse entirely.
The show was closed by Sara who appeared to the stage again in an astonishing pink lehenga, red dupatta, the dupatta had a patch of black in the middle. At the end of the show, all the models, actress Sara and the designer duo came up on the stage altogether and danced it out.
