It took place over the weekend at the Taj Lands End in the city of Mumbai. There’s no denying that the Bollywood celebrities put forward their most fashionable and glamorous avatar. Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Aamna Sharif, Ananya Panday, Jahnvi Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Yami Gautam and many others attended Elle Beauty Awards 2019 making it a memorable night. From thigh-high slits to head-to-toe metallic looks, the night was a high fashion starry affair. All the top actress adorned outfits with a thigh-high slit and we can safely say that it’s a sizzling hot trend this season!
is born for the spotlight and here is the proof. He was at his stylish best as he walked into the event impersonating the legendary comedian Charlie Chaplin. The actor opted for a black suit with a printed shirt. He further styled the look with dual-tone loafers, shades and a black hat. We can always trust Ranveer to add some fun to any night!
There was one stand outlook from the crowd, and that was Jahnvi Kapoor’s head-to-toe pleated metallic Maria Lucia Hohan gown. The gown featured a high-thigh slit and a plunging neckline making Janhvi look her sizzling best. Bold, daring and sexy, she kept the makeup minimal with her gorgeous tresses left open. She surely made heads turn as she entered the event. A perfect outfit choice by celebrity stylist, Mohit Rai, who never fails to impress.
Sheriya was the host for the evening. She opted for a Pankaj&Nidhi, gold shimmery sequins dress featuring a thigh-high slit. The actress chose pulled back sleek hair and nude make up to complete the look.
Anushka looked absolutely exquisite in a dainty white gown from the studios of Aadnevik. The actress kept her makeup minimal letting her natural beauty shine through. She definitely turned up the heat at the event with her thigh-high slit and sexy white corset gown. The pristine lace gown featured sheer fabric and delicate lacework. An off-shoulder neckline made her look straight out of a fairytale.
Mithila chooses a shocking pink number by Italian designer Avaro Figlio. The off-shoulder number featured some pleats at the bottom added oomp and volume to the outfit. Her hair was tied in a loose pony and black eyeliner with bright pink lips completed the look. She kept her accessories minimal to just an elegant pair of earrings.
Next-gen star, Ananya Panday turned up the drama in a little black dress by Prabal Gurung, which was anything but basic. The dress featured exaggerated ruffles which she paired with ankle-length boots. A fun number, the actress left her hair open and opted for minimal makeup. Ananya truly made black shine on the red carpet.
Bebo added a burst of color to the red carpet in a Sachin and Babi, red and pink gown. She seems to have taken inspiration from the most loved color combination at the Emmy’s – red and pink. The ever so gorgeous actress wowed everyone with this two-tone ensemble. The gown featured a slit at the center along with a cinch belt that accentuated her waistline. The actress kept her accessories minimal and added a pop of color to her makeup with bright pink lips.
Aamna stole the limelight in a dazzling pink gown. A classy and sexy number the off-shoulder gown was accentuated with minimal makeup, pink lips, and loosely curled hair.
Yami shows us the true meaning of black beauty. To add some drama the gown is embellished with feather detailing. A classic silhouette this perfectly flatters Yami’s hourglass figure. The look is completed with a pulled back bun, classic black eyeliner, flushed cheeks, and soft pink lips.
Manushi looks elegant in this Dolly J ensemble. Featuring two of the biggest trends- feathers and a thigh-high slit Manushi looked her gorgeous best. Choosing a sleek look, her hair was pulled back in a low pony, bold brows and heaps on mascara completed the look. She effortlessly pulled on a bold and daring deep maroon lip color. Her silver pointed kitten heels are worth drooling over.
Rahi added playful quirkiness to his ensemble. His monotone black and white tuxedo in a geometric print caught everyone’s attention.
Lipstick Under My Burkha actress Aahana Kumra arrived at the event in an elaborate grey gown featuring a plunging neckline and immense volume. The ruffles added the much-required volume to extravagant the look. Minimal makeup, loose curls, and a pink lip shade completed the look.
Among others who attended the awards night was Radhika Madan, who dialed up the drama and she sizzled in a strapless, corset black gown. While the Made In Heaven actress Sobhita Dhulipala adorned a short dual-tone black and white dress paired with pink lace stockings.
