Designers, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla celebrated 33 years of being in the fashion industry with a magnificent fashion show earlier last week. B-town’s leading lady, Deepika Padukone walked the ramp in a breathtaking ensemble which was all things dreamy. The show drew to a close as the designer duo and Deepika shook a leg on the runway.
Spotted on the front row was a line up of Bollywood celebrities who dressed in creations by the duo. The guest list included the Bachchan family, Karan Johar, Shanaya Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Sonali Bendre, and many more. Being ace courtiers for the last three decades, they have dressed the crème de la crème not only of Bollywood but even the business tycoons.
The actress-author-producer, Twinkle Khanna, was also spotted at the show along with her sister Rinki. Twinkle has always been a fan of AJSK couture and this time she donned a beautiful black floral Anarkali. The floor-length ensemble featured a v-neck, with floral embroidery all over in pastel hues and a dupatta with a matching floral embroidery border. A vision in black, the full-sleeved outfit looked elegant, and classy on Twinkle. The ensemble was created using Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s signature threadwork technique. The floral embroidery in pastel hues gave it a feminine, flirty and romantic touch.
Twinkle Khanna carried the outfit with immense grace, and the silhouette flattered her body accentuating her body. She further styled her outfit with green accents including green heels, a clutch, an emerald ring, and polka and emerald statement earrings. The emerald green accessories added a rich and regal look to the ensemble.
Her voluminous softly curled hair added glamour and oomph to her look. However, she is someone who likes to keep it simple thus opting for minimal make-up. Black kohl and thin eyeliner defined her gorgeous almond-shaped eyes, and nude lips with a touch of gloss completed the look. With flawless and luminous skin she radiated immense beauty.
If you’re someone who doesn’t like too much shimmer and shine, then this look is just right for you! The Anarkali is a versatile silhouette and looks just right for any festive occasion, be it a cocktail party or an Indian festival.
