The latest in fashion news is the emergence of "Next Evolution," which is bringing immersive virtual showrooms to enable designer buying at Fashion Design Council Of India Designer Showroom in collaboration with Prêtture.
The latest fashion news states that the Fashion Design Council Of India is adding interesting tech-savvy features to pave the way for smooth business at the upcoming Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week Spring-Summer'21 from October 14 to 18.
As fashion designers begin to open businesses and learn to trade in online ways, the Fashion Design Council Of India (FDCI) is also launching a virtual B2B platform. Titled "Designer Showroom," the platform is being executed in collaboration with Prêtture, a cloud App, which manages parts of the designer workflow.
It's all over the fashion news that this one-of-a-kind virtual Designer Showroom, an online retail destination, will be a place where domestic and international buyers can come and interact with designers virtually and place orders. The fashion designers will be provided with their personal profile page (virtual stall space) where they can upload their collection images, line sheets, campaign video/imagery, and conduct virtual meetings with their buyers. This online designer stall will be open for a minimum of three months, starting from Lotus Makeup India fashion week's first day that is October 14, 2020.
The fashion news states that fashion designers aptly understand the need to adapt. Hence, they have wholeheartedly supported this initiative that will prove to be both beneficial and futuristic.
The Fashion Design Council Of India Chairman- Sunil Sethi, stated- "This Designer Showroom in collaboration with Prêtture is a step towards what remains the FDCI's motto 'Business Happens Here'," Sunil Sethi further expressed, "The digital transformation of the stalls was of utmost importance, with online the new offline," He stated, "As sales have resumed, designers will get a cost-effective and flexible platform with a 360-degree approach to initiate secure interactions with buyers anywhere in the world,"
The CEO & CTO, Krishna Tiwari, about the "Next Evolution," stated- "Even though it has taken a long time to finalize this, we feel, Sunil Sethi and the FDCI team's keen eye to the detailing has, in the end, proved, very fruitful." Krishna Tiwari continued, "We have been working with fashion designers, and this gives us a platform to show the fraternity our expertise and commitment."
